Fogo de Chão
Great place to have a nice Brazilian Churrascaria experience. If you have never been to a Brazillian steakhouse before this one absolutely sets the bar. All other visits to a Brazillian Steakhouse after this point will be compared to this one and you will never be satisfied again. For anyone unfamiliar with Brazilian steakhouses, this is how it works: you sit down and can head over to the salad bar whenever you like. You are also provided with a red/green sign. Green means go, there are waiters walking around with cuts of meat on skewers, and if you're green they'll ask you if you want them to slick off a chunk. Red means stop, once you're so stuffed you can't eat another bite then turn over your sign and they'll skip you until you get your next wind. The location of Fogo de Chão is great, with a large balcony directly on top of the Botafogo bay and an amazing view. The meat is of excellent quality, the cuts are very good and they have also a very good wine selection. This restaurant is one of your must have when you visit Rio de Janeiro.
