Reservations
- You contact us, preferably by completing the contact form or by email on riobayhousing@gmail.com (please note that most of our apartments require a minimum booking of 5 or 7 nights).
- We will get back to you by email within 48 hours and send you the relevant info (availability, rental amount, deposit) Note: rates will be quoted in BRL (Brazilian Reals), and depend on season / number of persons / length of your stay. See exchange rates for today's exchange rates. Check-out cleaning fee is extra. For Carnival & New Year most apartments require a minimum booking of 7-10 nights.
- Rental contract: we will be sending you the rental contract by email which you need to complete and email back to us.
- Confirmation of your reservation: your reservation is confirmed as soon as we have your downpayment necessary to secure your reservation, payable by bank wire or Paypal (Paypal accepts all major credit cards). A receipt notice will be sent and we will ask you to provide us with the information on your flight and arrival time in Rio. Note: Paypal fees of 4% will be added to the rental amount; Paypal transactions are processed in EUR at the exchange rate of the day the payment request is sent. See exchange rates for today's rates.
- Final payment: the balance is payable in cash at your arrival, upon inspection of the apartment and receipt of the keys. A fully refundable security deposit is to be paid in cash upon arrival.
